Payment Policy

The caregiver may be paid by either cash or by check.  It is recommended that you pay by check for recordkeeping purposes in the event you are able to claim this expense on a personal tax return.  In some cases, this expense may be tax deductible depending on a medical statement of diagnoses. For further guidance, check with your tax professional or directly with the IRS. 

Caregivers are to be paid directly by the client on a weekly basis. Your caregiver will prepare a triplicate timesheet and present it to you each week which you are required to approve. The caregiver and client retain a copy and a copy should be sent along with your payment to:

O’Neill In-Home Care, P.O. Box 7681, Greenwich, CT 06836-7681. 

Any payments not received by O’Neill In-Home care within 30 days from the date of service will be billed a 1% fee per month on unpaid invoices.
